we can get distracted by flashing lights,spectacular presentations,glitz and glamor ...It is important to seek out things/people/leaders with real qualities not false promises and slick pandering

but what interests me the more
are the tiny flowers that you see
growing in the grass singly
not loud not bold not flashy not sassy
It doesn't take much to make them happy

flashy dresser latest styles

glitters in the dim daylight
attracting many to his site
but what I want, what I seek
is not someone that just throws off heat
but instead is simply warm inside
who doesn't need glitz and glitter
to be satisfied

like a moth drawn to a light
we often seek the cheap delight
and gather around in mindless worship
of something that it truly worthless
so when you choose a light to follow
be sure its source is not bare and hollow
