Year after Year - Improvised Piano Piece

Nenad Jović composed and played "Guitar Dialogue(Guitar solo)(https://soundcloud.com/user-442202241/guitar-dialogue?si=810f0e65b292499bb34b43defa269f4d&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing)," which struck me as beautiful. I love his soothing and soulful originals. I aligned a poem I had written with the tune and recorded it. Permission from him to make it public here was granted. How to cope with a grave personal loss ?
This concert tells the stirring story.

First, you go through pain and despair. Then follows a rebellion and call for encouragement, repeatedly interrupted by flashbacks and sweet but painful memories.
In the finale, you accept the new reality and you move boldly to new horizons.

The 1st movement "Keys of Letting Go" begins with deep sadness, melancholy and dejection.
Slowly, note by note, chord by chord, the piano rises from the vast valley of sadness.
It throws itself into a wild dialogue with the orchestra. Angry interjections interrupt the flow several times, but the piano and orchestra always manage to pick up harmonic motives.
The movement ends powerfully, but in a minor key.

This story is not about Alice. Although, we've all had Alice in our lives. As well as the Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and Jabberwock, in one form or another. This story is about you. This story is about me. 

These insane days I feel like more than ever I want to open some hidden hatch inside my piano to fall through a rabbit hole into a fantasy land, away from all the madness that I see around..
