This is my escape from the long road between Albuquerque and Wichita.

The Woodlands

Patrick/DjArtw2001 (@djartw2007) and I present track 5 in our current collaborative album "Galaxy Universe" (2024).

The track was created in September 2023 (initial composition, recording, arrangement and mix by Patrick/DjArtw2001 in MAGIX), 27 February 2024 (subsequent instruments, recording, arrangement and mix by Alex M in Logic Pro using Akai midi input), 10 and 28 April (further additions, arrangements and mixes by Alex M in Logic Pro) and 29 April 2024 (final additions, arrangements and mix by Patrick/DjArtw2001 in MAGIX) and posted here on SoundCloud on 10 May 2024 (by Alex M). We have used vocal samples from Patrick’s MAGIX collection (HipHop Chilhop Part 2).

The artwork cover for the track zooms on a part of an oil painting by Patrick/DjArtw2001 of 7 January 2024 that was cropped from a photo and annotated using Mac OS Preview by Alex M on 10 April 2024 - in coordination and agreement with Patrick/DjArtw2001.

I have worked here with the excellent (purchased) samples for Magix "Music Producer". The intro (About to Minute 2:00) was supposed to stand for all that music stands for: FREEDOM! There are such brilliant composers out there, dare you! Once, "we the people" had to tear down a wall !!!!!! And remember: no cracking software. Only then can the honest ones afford this ingenious support!

Composers feel 'pangs' (hunger) which force them to make pieces. Once made, pieces are completely (and I mean completely) forgotten. At that point, the next pang is felt (so it goes).

Soundcloud has blocked me from leaving comments, regardless of browser or IP. Nadia and other artists report the same issue.

My favourite pianist (by a considerable margin) is Murray Perahia.

As for the Kendrick/Drake debate, Kendrick...obviously.
