Third study for a latent piece for piano and orchestra

Largo Part III

Tom (@tom-2020) and I are glad to present track 7 (last but one) in our almost finished collaborative album "La belle et le loup, ou Les loups du Gévaudan" (2023), or in English translation "Beauty and the Beast, or The Wolves of Gevaudan").

The track was created in collaboration on 25 November 2023 (initial composition, recording, arrangement and mix in MAGIX by Tom) and 10-11 December 2023 (subsequent composition, recording, arrangement and final mix in GarageBand iOS and Logic Pro by Alex M), and posted here on SoundCloud on 11 December 2023 (by Alex M). We acknowledge use of vocal samples from MAGIX Dance-Main Stage, selected and incorporated into the track by Tom. 

The artwork cover for the track is based on a photo by Tom of 11 September 2013 (exactly 10 years and 3 months ago!) that was cropped and annotated in Mac OS Preview by Alex M and Tom in coordination on 8 October 2023.

Northern Lights Grow

This is one of two still photographs of me playing the piano. I like this photograph because it somehow iterates the black and white keys of the piano, and the black and white face of the player, like a Zen symbol.
