A version of Jimena’s open collaboration ‘You Are Not Him’ by Chris Kinsey and myself.
When I heard Jimena’s vocal stems they reminded me of Pat Benatar, so I thought I’d attempt a Soft Rock version of her song; this is the result.

It’s interesting to hear how other artists on the Cloud have interpreted the song in so many different ways, covering many genres, they’re all amazing which I believe is testament to a great song.

So, I was invited by someone to play an old, retro organ. We had been working on this song, so it was fresh in my mind. I played it while singing and recorded it on my phone and a hand-held cassette recorder. After some minor overdubs and home studio tweaks - here it is. Hope you lo-fi-lovers like it. The band seems to like it as much as anything we'd do with it in the studio. This might be our last recording of this song (pardon our self-deprecating humor. We love being in a band, but we joke about it often, also).
