Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @garybeck for its 110th episode of Amplify Series.

Glasgow born producer and DJ Gary Beck has long been
established as a primary figure in techno.
Known and respected for his unique sound, he has gained support from the best names in the business and released music on some of the genre's leading labels, including Mutual Rytm, Soma, as well as his own BEK Audio imprint.

Since his emergence onto the scene in 2007, Beck has accumulated an impressive list of achievements. Highlights include a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, two Boiler Room session's, featured music on BBC 1 Drama ‘Stonemouth', and 'God Save The Quine', as well as numerous collaborations with exceptional talents such as MR. G, GreenVelvet, Debra Debs, Mark Broom and Speedy J.

2012 saw the release of his seminal debut album 'Bring a Friend' on the legendary Soma Records label. It was their 100th album release, and this was a great honour for Gary. His second album 'Dal Riata' was released in November 2019 on BEK Audio.
You can also find Gary appearing under various different alias's, including Sosak & Tanera.

In terms of performing, Gary has appeared at some of the worlds largest and respected clubs and festivals, with shows at renowned venues such as Womb Tokyo, Fabric London, Awakenings, T in the Park Scotland, Spazio Rome, Output NYC, Printworks London, and Timewarp, to name a few. In addition to a busy performance schedule, Beck spends time as head of BEK Audio, an imprint which has quickly become one of the most revered techno labels on the scene after releases from the likes of Floorplan, Mark Broom, Slam, DJ Rush & Ritzi Lee.

Gary say's on approaching the 60th release “I initially set up the label as a release platform for my own music, however that quickly changed. I don't put myself under any pressure with the releases. It simply has to be really good!

This song's title alludes to the rhetoric of the Israeli Prime Minister, who tries by all means to justify the war crimes committed by the Israeli army in Gaza and the West Bank. Believe me, because that's the title of this piece, it's a musical fragment that cynically addresses the disgusting and utterly unethical barrier of lies and manipulation that circulates in international politics and on its fringes. The Israeli Prime Minister, his popularity, his approach to the creation of a Palestinian state, and his position in today's political world seem like a balloon waiting to explode, saturated with lies, the suffering, and the deaths of over 60,000 Palestinians.

The Belgian artist Man Outta Space has been playing music since 2005. His sets can be described as energetic Techno with spacey elements which bring constant tension to the dance floor. As a former resident of one of Belgium's longest-running clubs, Decadance, he developed his mixing skills through long marathon sets. This heavy track digger is always on the hunt to find that hidden gem in the record bin. This is also noticed in the carefully selected lineups of his event “Wir Tanzen.” There he invited highly respected acts like Dax J, Stef Mendesidis, Paula Temple, Lucy, Fjaak, Pariah, Florian Meindl, Lucy, Exium, Keith Carnal, … Man Outta Space is constantly developing his sound, combining old with new, so you never know what's coming next.
