We’re back for our first party since March 2020 and have found the perfect spot for a 10 hour, open-air day party. Boat Live is in the heart of Hackney Wick and is a real hidden gem. The DJ booth is mounted in a landlocked canal boat and looks out onto the terrace, which will be our dance floor. We can’t wait for you to see it.

Joining us, we have two proper selectors. Aerofunk is having an amazing year, with sell-out vinyl releases on labels such as Subee and digital releases on Voigtmann’s Subsequent. Come and catch him while he is on the rise. We also have Butter Side Up resident, Matthew Neequaye. He is back for the second time after smashing our party with Francesco Del Garda and Christian AB a few years ago. Matthew has been making serious waves since so it was an obvious choice to have him again. We’re excited to hear the records he has added to his collection.

They will be supported by our trusted residents Manalou & Reis. With Damag in charge of the visuals. See you on the dance floor!

Here it is, the next in the series. It's been a few months in the making but you'll soon hear why. A mix completely compiled of 100% self made, unreleased, hip swingin', feet moving production from the super highly talented Aerofunk.

Since we last spoke, a lot has changed. Clubs are back open, festivals are in full swing and we have a proper bank holiday weekend ahead of us!

In celebration, for this months show, I've put together a mix of deeper, driving house music for you to get lost in. The sort of sounds you want to listen to around 3am, in an intimate venue, with a pounding sound system. We kick off at around 130bpm and work our way upwards.

Coming in fast with release number 5, Liverpool based Aerofunk makes his debut on Subee with 4 cuts of straight fire. The Intergalactic Friends EP is filled with astronomical groove and packs more punch than a unidentified object leaving the atmosphere - tracks A1 & B2 are high on the G force scale and sure to get any dance floor flying whereas A2 & B1 take the pace down just enough to show Aerofunk's soulful side at cruising altitude.

Resident for the legendary Leeds party outfit Butter Side Up, this exquisite mix is a shining example of his diverse, deep and totally hypnotic selections. It's a pleasure to welcome him to our mix series this week - enjoy!

We kick off with some nice deeper sounds from artists like Gab Jr. and Sweely. We pick up the pace with some driving, loopy tracks from the likes of Oshana and Kosh. We then close on some 140bpm electro breaks from artists like OCB, Sansibar and Freakenstein.
