Maksim Dark - (Live DJ) Was born in the distant Ural, in Serov, Russia. He developed his passion for music in early adolescence.At 16 years of age he began to engage and experiment with music. He had plenty of ideas but was too young to afford expensive studio equipment and space. That didn't stop him from making his first 100 releases on the cheapest pair of speakers. Discovering the darker style of music for the first time, Maksim felt an intense adrenaline rush throughout his body. He was inspired to create something similar of his own, so he began by listening to all kinds of sounds while sitting in a room with the lights off, in a complete darkness. His own signature dark minimal sound was born. At present Maksim still passionately works on improving his technique, blending different styles and incorporating new elements to create a completely unique sound, a sound which does not have a name yet.

We understand you've had a tough week at work, so as an extra special "well done", we've got a full album exclusive today. The latest LP from Zusammenklang, Different Places showcases the German's talent for smooth, thoughtful dance music, seamlessly blending both deep and tech house, and techno throughout.

Promising "joyful melodies... despondent vocals and chilly synths" Different Places, sits perfectly on the fence between light and dark. Abyssal bass drives the LP, creating cohesion below the twinkling, ghostly sonics that define each track. Zusammenklang crafts rich textures so enveloping that the album demands to be put on repeat.

Out September 9th via Oliver Schories' SOSO imprint, Different Places proves a solid follow up to Zusammenklang's 2013 debut LP Tagtraum. The producer has developed and his sound with it, pushing power and depth to the top of his skill set.

Après dix ans passés à composer de la musique techno/électronique, ce jeune compositeur Aixois a pris, depuis quatre ans, un tout autre tournant en se lançant dans un univers qui mêle aussi bien le classique, l’orchestral que les rythmiques percutantes en utilisant majoritairement chœurs, violon et piano.
Ce mélange atypique et enveloppant crée une ambiance mystique, métaphorique et étrange.
Un genre qui rappelle autant la musique de film que celle de jeux vidéos.
