Queensland born and bred, Nimai WIlliams has been plucking at a guitar since childhood. Raise within a family of musicians, Nimai has taken inspiration from his parents, performing live with them from a young age. Incorporating the folk-rock twang reminiscent of the John Butler Trio with the laid-back, relaxed vocals of John Mayer, Nimai produces a unique and yet familiar tone that brings to life his home of Australia. Nimai’s mellow, easy-listening vocals compliment and add complexity to coffeehouse-esque lyrics. I am a singer/guitarist and songwriter from the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
At the age of 10, I was a keen violinist. Mum and Dad-not so keen - offered to buy me any other instrument if I would only STOP playing the violin-I opted for a guitar and they immediately got me one! I started to play and sing. And so began my real love affair with all things music.In fact music runs in the family!
My sister and son also have their music here on soundcloud.
I play and sing in pubs, clubs, restaurants, at home ,for friends - I’ll never stop!

 In the past I have supported some big Australian names, such as, Mick Fleetwood and the Zoo, Paul Kelly, Daryl Braithwaite and Vika and Linda Bull. I have written songs for World Vision , for children’s stories- for tv commercials ( the altapac add), for Christmas choirs and for other musicians-aussie band Bullamakanka recorded ‘wild horses’ one of my originals and country singer Deniese Morrison recorded a song I co-wrote with my sister , ‘The ballad of KP Nutbrown’.
I’ve been writing songs about my life, loves and convictions- I like to tell a story –my songs are all based on life experiences- I try to keep it real! recording for my EP ‘The 11th Hour’ was amazing! Govinda Doyle( he produced ‘Big Jet Plane ‘ for Angus and Julia Stone) is a wonderful producer who brings out the natural sounds of real musicians playing together to create an organic, earthy and truly intimate recording.Thanks to all the beautiful musicians who played and sang:

Man Can’t Fly, 4-piece Alt/Acoustic-Rock outfit from Bradford, exploded onto the scene in 2013 with the release of their debut self-released single, “Don’t Waste my Time”, championed by BBC Introducing and achieved 7 plays on BBC Radio 1 daytime! After some time apart, the band have returned in 2017 with a more mature, "rougher round the edges", harder-hitting, grittier sound than how they started out - returning to their 'origins' when it comes to influences and earlier tastes in music. 2017 is a "new year new me" sound to be reckoned with ---more to follow!

Annual FREE Metropolitan music festival, now in its 5th year, that takes place in Barnsley, South Yorkshire in 18 town centre venues with over 150 bands and over 600 musicians of all genres taking part.  Over 5,000 music fans are expected fill the town this year.

Been playing the guitar for some years, and been doing singing for a bit less. I also improvise a bit on piano.

This music thing is mostly a hobby, but it is a hobby I love, so maybe someday I'll be able to make a living from it.  If you like my stuff, share it with others and tip off music-biz people.

You Had Me At Hello! are a pop punk quartet formed in West Yorkshire at the end of 2009. They have been working hard over the past 4 and a half years to get themselves known around the local area and throughout the rest of the UK.

In April 2011 they released their debut E.P: 'Take it off', Produced and recorded in Ventura, California with the American band Army of Freshmen. They then toured relentlessly for the rest of the year playing large, well known venues such as Leeds 02 Academy, Newcastle O2 Academy, Bradford St Georges Hall and playing a headline set at the Cockpit in Leeds.

In 2012 they headed over to Austin, Texas in the USA for a short tour during the famous SXSW Festival, which had acts such as Bruce Springsteen and Kaiser Chiefs performing.

2013 was a busy year for the band too as they played numerous shows across the UK including a full UK tour, they are currently recording their debut Album set for release in May 2014.
