One is the debut sola EP release from Minneapolis-based Manchita (GRRRL PRTY, THa CLeRB), and was produced entirely by Bass music wizard, Bionik (Lizzo, R. Kelly, Aaliyah). Known for her aggressively swaggy rap background, One is our introduction to the unfolding of Manchita’s alternate, more reflective and sonically tender voice. 
Drawing from his R&B and hip hop roots, Bionik brings his hard-hitting arrangements to a stripped down musical format that complements Manchita’s intimate vocal performance on the record.  With influences ranging from Little Dragon, Aceyalone and Beyoncé to Aretha Franklin and The Pixies, One is a true display of genre fusion, daring the listener to classify it.
