Every Thursday night at 8 PM Central Time, I DJ live from the WSUM studio. As a UW Madison alumni, it’s great to stay connected with the school. I try to capture a different vibe each week, often pulling in old tracks I haven’t heard in a while—not just focusing on the latest releases. Everything is done live and on the fly, based on whatever I’m feeling.

I talk a few times during the hour to let listeners know what’s playing.

Never Stop Dancing is a mix series dedicated to all those who find themselves locked in the groove, time and time again. To those who find themselves eyes closed, lost in the music. To those who say "one more song" more than once. To those who live for the collective joy, community, and boundless self-expression of the dance floor. To those who never stop dancing. This mix series is focused on amplifying the sounds of DJs and producers in the Kootenays and British Columbia who honour the rich tradition of house, disco, and techno in their sets. 

@Deejaybasscat is a Kootenay staple. During festival season, she can be found bouncing up and down experiencing pure euphoria while DJing to the backdrop of beautiful BC landscapes. Her genre fluid style is known to get booties shakin' and feet steppin'. Bass Cat is also an amazing visual artist who has graced many-a-stage with her wiggly cedars pictured in the mix graphic. This dance floor enthusiast always brings the vibe, and I can't wait for you to check this soulful mix! Best enjoyed on a good sound system.

He also works with Android Jones on Microdose - a potent video/audio phantasmagoria and is an accomplished digital artist that obsesses over plants daily. This bad gyal has been a long-time staple in Vancouver's underground bass scene for more than two decades. She started out by spending countless hours digging elbow-deep in crates of 45s in Canada, the US and Jamaica. Her finely curated sets landed her behind the decks continuously and firmly solidified her as a member of Vancouver's notorious LIGHTA! crew. She is well-known for her legendary mixes, some being all-vinyl releases, her true love. Blending reggae/dancehall with dembow/bass/rap/RnB/grime, her musical repertoire is expansive and fresh. A regular at Bass Coast, she also graced stages at Shambhala, Diversity and her family-run festival The Field. She rocked the Thunder Stage at LIB and made ripples at the Moon Stage at the Oregon Eclipse. She has opened for well-known artists in both the reggae/dancehall and international underground music scenes and graces underground parties spanning the west coast and other major musical hubs. In 2012 she gave birth to Lighta's youngest little member. bup!bup!
