This Burn, my 4th, hit different. Thank you so much to Toxic Disco Clam for welcoming me and my crew with open arms. After they hosted a dope Afrobeats happy hour, I hopped on the decks and offered a little gift. I hope you all enjoy it. It's a beautiful mix of Deep and Afro House.

As time goes by, memories fade, and you tend to forget. You forget *what* made Burning Man so amazing. You just remember that's the most special place in the known universe. But you can't put your finger on why.

That's until you get back. A flurry of dust, laughs, heat, and tears of joy later, you truly understand. Memories will fade again – but there's always next year :)

I love you, Black Rock City. You're a monument to what's pure and good in humankind.

Mandarinas - Casa de la Rumba - Burning Man 2022

One of my favorite DJ sets at the Burn this year was on top of the Disco Space Shuttle art car on Thursday night from 11pm to 2 am. It was an incredible cosmic ride into Deep Playa. 

The soil condition was so bumpy that it created an unforgiving DJ desk surface to those of us who prefer not to play with the Sync button on. I could had gone that way but I decided to let the challenge seep through the mixes and allow for the experience to be recorded as raw and human as possible, full of flaws and the highlighted reality that the playa surface was still wrecked from the previous year's Renegade Burn, and a lack of rain on the playa which did not allow for the lake to form for as long as it normally does between Burns. The earth climate is changing, and the heat at the Burn this year was present for most of the 24hrs of each day. 

I hope you enjoy this eventful ride into Burning Man outer-space!
