mochilero is first and foremost a passionate and dedicated dancer. With each set, he aims to share melodies & rhythms for liberatory movement & collective joy. Inspired by the mystery, interconnectedness, and diversity of the natural world, mochilero weaves together melodic, uplifting and soulful grooves to evoke a feeling of oneness on the dance floor. He plays tasteful melodic, deep, progressive, minimal, and downtempo house with rays of breaks, acid, tech, & disco to create emotive, hypnotic, and dynamic sonic journeys.

mochilero hosts inclusive parties, ecstatic dances, and community events on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territories of the Sinixt (Nelson, BC). The events foster an experience of collective joy, while focusing on centring marginalized communities and uplifting organizations that work toward social and environmental justice. His events are intended for dance lovers of any and every background, and are inspired by Fusion, Burning Man, Boom, and the open air culture in Köln, Germany, that led him to fall deep in love with the rich tradition of house music.
