Bahsanford, born David Mahon, was born in West Palm Beach, Florida. Bahsanford is a song writer, producer, and CEO of Media Factory Ent. Art is second nature to Bahsanford. Carol “Sweet C” Mahon, Bahsanford’s mother, career began to make head way, she decided it was best for Bahsanford to go live with the family back home. Bahsanford was sent to live with his mother’s family in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. Here Bahsanford would attend primary school. Growing up Bahsanford watched his mother play and record Reggae music. She also exposed him to various artists and studios early on. Bahsanford even went on tour with his mother on a few occasions. Amongst her were artists such as Tony Rebel, Buju Baton, and Sizzla. At age 9 Bahsanford took the pen and wrote his first song. This lead to Bahsanford’s decision to make a career in music. As a teenager he moved back to the U.S. to the city of his birth West Palm Beach, Florida. There he attended BAK Middle School of the Arts where he played trumpet and learned how to read and compose music. Today Bahsanford appeals to the hip-hop and reggae genre, blending both sounds to create his own unique style.
