Letitia VanSant writes lyrics that trace the roots of the world's challenges into the soul. Hailed as one of Baltimore's strongest songwriters, her distinctly intimate voice is fortified by sparse indie folk and Americana arrangements. The self-styled mandolin player/singer of Two Tuesdays, a band of music-loving friends from the Baltimore/Washington area.  Stew and Two Tuesdays are from the improvisational school of "never the same way twice" (allman brothers, grateful dead, etc), but widen to include originals and a diverse range of rock and country covers from the artists that inspire them (bonnie raitt, drive by truckers, son volt, lucinda williams, rolling stones, johnny cash, etc).

Stew is also the namesake of StewFest, a magic annual summer mini- festival that celebrates friends, food, family, neighbors, cold ones and... live music.  He also books bands for The Reisterstown Festival (www.reisterstownfest.com).
