I went away a few years back, for a deep deep, soul wrenching, therapy-a-thon. 8 days.. no phone.. no TV.. just digging out the pain. I acknowledged a lot of truths I never had and I began healing. I came home and the melody for “Orphan” was blaring so loud in my ear, I could barely hear people when they spoke to me. That was the beginning of this record. I’m so proud of these songs.
