A pleasure working with Chuck on this gentle Blaze Foley song, most notably covered by Merle Haggard. A close friend and confidant of Merle's encouraged him to record it, saying it was the "best damn song I've heard in fifteen years".

I write simple songs, mostly in a country/folk vein. All recordings posted here were done at home with minimal production on my little Tascam Pocket Studio.
