Manfred Leuchter Johannes (* 15. June 1960 in Würselen ) is a German composer, producer and accordion player in the field of World Music . He mixes Afro-oriental sound structures with European classical music and jazz .

Since 2000, Leuchter takes with his band concert tours by India, Romania, Morocco, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine and Lebanon. He works with local musicians (including "Hewar" , Essam Rafea , Dima Orsho , Muslim Rahal , Jamal al Saqa , Feras Share Stan / Syria, Driss el Maloumi / Morocco). He lives and works in Aachen and Marrakech .

In addition, Manfred Leuchter works as a producer of various artists such as Reinhard Mey . He is also a composer of theater music .
