Shapeshifter (Formwandler) sind fiktive Wesen oder Sagengestalten, die ihre eigene äußere Form verändern können. Das innere Wesen bleibt dabei erhalten.

In meinem Stück „The Shapeshifter“ habe ich versucht diese Metamorphose musikalisch zu beschreiben.

Dieses Stück ist Teil der One Synth Callenge der Sinee Studios.
Verwendet wurden nur die durch Sinee zur Verfügung gestellten Samples des Korg OPSIX. Als DAW kam Ableton Live zur Anwendung. Es wurden nur der Simpler und die nativen FX-Plugins aus Ableton genutzt. Auf Resampling wurde verzichtet.
