The origin of this was I thought about how similar one's imitation of Whitty sounds to the U'rAAHNK sound Kremlings make when you stomp them. I had the incredibly kek idea of making this after I remembered DKC has multiple samples of different vowels, and covering this with that in mind sounded like a lot of fun.

I made this with 64-bit c700 in FL, and made sure to never exceed the 8 voice limit. I'm sure it could be optimized further, though. Anyway, I also quoted Diddy's stage victory theme for this (and some of the mixing decisions are a reference to it as well). Maybe you can guess where.

Yesterday I accidentally made this public for about 10 whole minutes, but because it was 1:00pm none of you people saw it. YOU BLEW IT

I experienced this video through a cropped Tik-Tok a good week before I ever saw the version with the gay Raving Rabbids victory screen music. Oddly enough I've never seen that version again, only the hillbilly crap (WHich, for the video's intended usage, works better, but like, I'm a musician first, and unfunny cunt second). So I'm glad I downloaded that when I did. Tomorrow it will have been a full month since I'd done so.

Since the video plays the music at something like 1.40x speed, it was interesting trying to find a balance when translating that. By that, I mean this version doesn't have that same sound, because it can't without losing its in-game accuracy. boo-womp.
The FIR settings also don't much care for bass past a certain threshold, so the bass is an octave higher than it should be. They also made the lead sound kind of grating. 

That is, until I made this update that uses its voices more efficiently, and added a 3rd bass layer in the center. Now it ain't too bad. I also added in the vocals from the excerpt. For that, I used moises to isolate them from the music, then converted that to 16kHz PCM in Audacity. To prevent C700 from overloading, I added another C700 vst, gave it the same "mixer" settings, then imported the voice clip.

First I used Moises AI to separate the vocals from the instrumental. Then after I created the sheet music I exported it to MIDI. Then, I remade the SFX using Wario Land 4's sfx patches & did an arrangement of the song, and using a bunch of different effects made WAAAhrio sound like his voice clips came from the GBA.
And THEN I did some color correction to make Wario look more like his in-game sprite, and resized the image to be the GBA's resolution. I exported it in three sections, converted them to GIF, each of which I set to have only 45 colors (since GBA sprites usually use 15, and here it's like: Wario, Castle, BG). Then I converted those BACK into mp4's, re-imported into Vegas, and made everything line up. So, now, here we are. AH, AH, HA.
