Born in Linstead Jamaica, W.I., DJ Socrateez has been collecting records since the Age of 5. He started playing at family events at Age 10 (as DJ Casanova), and became a professional at age 13.
 
In his early professional career, DJ Socrateez played at "Basement Parties" in Brooklyn & The Bronx, and as the opening act at various NYC night clubs.
 
While in college @ Syracuse University, he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, & was given the pledge name "Socrates" which he used until 2011 when he changed to "Socrateez" for branding and trademark reasons.
 
DJ Socrateez dominated the Central New York, and Northeast College scene from 1990-1998, and at the same time DJ'd at Clubs in NYC and all around the US.
 
DJ Socrateez retired in 2004, to focus on practicing law, but came back out of retirement in 2010 and is currently doing events all over the US.

For more than 22 years, DJ Maxwell has been a dominant player in the music and entertainment industry. From his first humble days as a radio host On and On Show on Groove FM. Maxwell quickly made a name for himself within the urban music community through his successful national and international DJ career and his work as a club and concert promoter. As a DJ, Maxwell is well-known for his work in some of Brisbane's most popular nightclubs. Underdome Night Club, Squeeze Club at Alex Hills Hotel, Pressure Lounge at Calamvale Hotel, Mercury Night Club . Maxwell and business partner Patrick Donohue had huge success drawing large crowds every weekend to Mystique Nightclub. Maxwell has a large national and international fan base, having DJ'd for crowds all around Australia and throughout Asia. 

Through his DJ career, Maxwell has supported well-known RnB superstars such as Black Eyed Peas, Wiz Kalifa, A$ASP Rocky, Usher + Trey Songs, Maxwell + Boyz 2 Men, and has shared the stage with major international acts Ludacris, Kelis, Snoop Dogg, Taio Cruz, Bow Wow, Ciara, T—Pain, Chris Brown + Rihanna, Naughty By Nature, Ja Rule + Ashanti, Brian Mcknight + Az Yet.

Today, Maxwell focuses most of his energy into his work with The Hour Group, bringing international artists to Australia and New Zealand. Yg, August Alsina, Jhene Aiko, Jacquees, One Four + HP Boyz, Kobe Bryant + Tyga to name a few.  Also Full Clip Radio Brisbane’s Online Radio Station. 

Maxwell is passionate about giving back to his community and has utilised his platform to help organise a number of fundraisers and relief programs both locally and overseas. Co-Founder of RISE UP Brisbane teamed up with Team Adobo in Cebu Philippines. 

Maxwell remains an irreplaceable member of the music industry, while continuing to grow his business successes and expand his charitable work.
