I DJ for the love of music and the joy of sharing it with others. Music connects people in so many different ways, and that’s what inspires me.

My journey started in Ottawa, on the dance floor at Sweet Saturdays. From there, I found myself at Atomic (Ottawa), Sona (Montreal), Stereo (Montreal), System Soundbar (Toronto), Surface (Ottawa), and Heaven (Ottawa). Those nights fueled my passion and shaped my love for the scene.

Over the years, I invested in my craft—starting with my first digital setup (Tech 1200 DZs), moving to the Vestax VCI 300 with the VFX-1 effects unit, and now mixing on a Roland DJ-808. Since 2005, I’ve been learning, experimenting, and perfecting my skills. I’ve played everything from small get-togethers and local bars to unforgettable nights deep in the forest on a private lake with friends.

What I love most are intimate nights where I can take people on a journey—introducing them to tracks they’ve never heard before, while mixing in classics that keep everyone smiling, dancing, and singing along.

House music has always been, and always will be, a part of who I am.

 Darren James and Alec Milliner (Manhattan) have been involved in the international music circuit for over ten years, creating the finest deep and tech house productions in the studio and djing that sound on a global scale.

The re-launch of their Capital Heaven label in June 2012 gained instant recognition. That success looks set to run with recent ascendance within both Beatport and Juno's chart's and recommendations, plus support from Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo and Chris Fortier.

Their monthly radio slot on Tunnel FM (1st Sat of every month) continues to push their brand of house music to the masses.

The duo's illustrious career has seen them work alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, and collaborations with Fade, Mindwarp Records, Pro B Tech and Soma Records can only enhance their reputation further.
