Music is colorful, diverse and vibrant as the butterflies. Almost 180,000 different species live in 127 families. The music by Boris Brejcha is like a "Feuerfalter" (copper). On one side the butterfly is relaxing and floating on the wind, but on the other hand he also sets with steam and fire to a fall into a low altitude. This is how it feels when Brejcha makes music.

The fourth album is exactly the description of this "Feuerfalter", a kind of backflash into the impressive career of Boris Brejcha. An album that deliberately shows how the artist works versatile. Times slightly floating, sometimes wild hitting the wing, always full of passion. The influences of his travelings and performances characterize his art again.

This creates a music that may be accompanied on Brejchas audience the whole day: at home, in a relaxed atmosphere or just at night, when the trip through the clubs starts. On the album "Feuerfalter" this individuality is turned on. Brejcha even picks up the desire of his ans to weave a few quieter tracks into his cosmos.

Globally renowned for his wealth of intricate productions and an expansive musical catalogue that strikes the perfect balance between power and grace, award-winning producer Rodriguez Jr. now announces his latest full-length studio album project, Feathers & Bones – set for worldwide release on May 26 via his newly launched imprint of the same name.

An extensive, ten-track opus that dives deep into the Frenchman’s complex sonic identity, Feathers & Bones was recorded over the course of two years, conceptualized while living in Paris and completed from his new home, Miami. Pivoting towards a new chapter in his illustrious career, the album houses a collection of new Rodriguez Jr. solo productions, two singles with Cuban-American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Liset Alea, his collaboration with multifaceted Italian artist Giorgia Angiuli, as well as an eagerly-anticipated debut collaboration with legendary English hip hop / electronica outfit, Stereo MC’s.

Following the recent release of Tuning The Moon with Giorgia Angiuli, Rodriguez Jr. reveals the next vocal single to be taken from the album. Teaming up with his wife and Nouvelle Vague collaborator, Liset Alea, Amplify emanates hedonistic grooves across its duration, combining raw bass, celestial synths and Liset’s alluring vocals. Working together in perfect harmony, this charming creation will leave a lasting impression on the listener. Joining Amplify, Rodriguez Jr. also delivers his first instrumental record in the form of Lithium. Exuding a mysterious atmosphere, the track builds gradually with flurrying synths and eerie pads, pushed along by raw, driving bass.

Speaking about Feathers & Bones, Rodriguez Jr. mentioned:

“Now more than ever, I feel the urgency to explore different formats and genres. Twenty-five years of experience in music production and thousands of shows for diverse audiences all over the world has taught me that the unpredictable is often at the core of every achievement, especially today when dance music has become so formatted. The album is a pivot towards a new chapter of my life and carries the personal alchemy that I seek in my live shows; oscillating between dreamy melodies, ethereal textures and kinetic beats.”

Giving insight into Amplify’s backstory, Liset Alea said:

“Written in lock-down Paris, a time of deep reflection and dreams of escape, I kept asking myself what takes me beyond the craziness of this world, what makes me vibrate at a higher frequency, what amplifies me? Joseph Ray’s ‘Cos of You’ showcases his production prowess, featuring swelling leads and rolling deep percussion. The artwork for the single borrows from the iconic 90s UK nightlife photography of Dave Swindells and hints at the influence behind Joseph Ray’s signature sound; the pulsating energy of UK house and jungle.  The track was road-tested by Joseph Ray to a heaving crowd at Anjunadeep’s sold out label takeover of iconic venue Printworks London.

This latest release comes off the back of two well-received 2022 singles released via Anjunadeep, ‘Changing Lanes’ and ‘Inhibitions’, that have amassed over 850k streams across DSP’s and garnered support from the likes of Gorgon City, Tinlicker and Qrion.
