Jeroen: After having organized the fist SINE-wave tracker compo in 1995 (of which my popular tune Stranglehold was the result)(often used as keygen music), I couldn't hesitate to enter this compo, which is very similar, but now on my beloved machine, the Commodore 64. I had the pleasure to work with technical genius LMan on the tune.

Markus: So here it is, my first and hopefully not last coop with Jeroen. He had a sketch of this song, so we worked together on making the SID chip sing it. Jeroen did most of the composing, while I did most of the tech. Although it is not apparent at first glance, there is a lot of trickery going on to make it sound like 4 solid channels playing simultaneously. Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Tools used: Cheesecutter 2.9, Inkscape, Pixcen, Image/Player wrapper by Dr.J.

Runs on a factory Commodore 64 with the 8580 SID chip.

My personal all-time favorite... It's not 100% completed yet, but it's seriously getting there! The "main arps" are basically the thing "missing" ... (on purpose for now)... I wanted to see where I could go without having them there to begin with (they will, I repeat, WILL be there predominantly at places...  <3

Anyway, I hope you guys dig it as much as I was inspired creating it... :-)

Supremacy (Tel Me More) W.I.P.  Update March 12, 2018

I worked through the entire weekend putting more and more things together on W.I.P. Supremacy... Also worked in, some of the feedback I got from several music friends (Thanks for that!)

I added the first addition of the recorded choirs (there will be more of that). In case you wonder? Yes, the voice is mine (dubbed as a choir many times over).

Still "missing" (intentionally):  The main lead arpeggio! /|/|/|
When they're there eventually, they will be eargasmic.

Zoids revisited

At long last me and Gammer get round to collaborating, and not end up spending the day playing Counter-Strike or watching Youtube videos. Being the uber nerds that we are, and seeing as we had stopped playing computer games for five minutes to write some music, we decided to go the chip tune route but in a "so over the top ridiculous way that it hasn't been done before" kind of fashion.

We spent pretty much as much time on the 8 bit breakdowns as the rest of the track. All wrapped around a classic feel good hardcore riff. Hope you enjoy!
