pearls and cocaine,
I'm curled in a cold pain, 
so ashamed when I'm clothed plain
terror is the whole aim  
cursed from birth to old age,

laymen serve as vagrant serfs
on an aimless search to claim their purse
but gain no worth, 
ingrained in dirt
chained they lurch
with brains berserk
i'm not the same, I'm afraid i'm worse,

strange ways and quirks, displayed at work
so fade away disgraced and [hurt],
in these days where we're,
traded as slaves till we're laid in the earth
or we're made to disperse
cos the plagues have returned 

so rage in containment,
nameless, interned
for dangerous labours just paper is earned,

I'm bemoaning my epitaph,
left holding my chest to protect my heart,
sit saddened and alone in the palaces of Rome,
where the savages roam through the passages like ghosts in the dark

in the caverns of this mad world
souls gathered in droves
inanimate mannequins robed in a mans clothes
mechanical, programmed 
by habit to panic and grab hold
of this stamped gold

wrist in a metal chain
branded like animals
