LF RMX is a new series, exclusively featuring edits and remixes originally made by Len Faki for use in his own DJ sets. Now releasing them to a wider audience, the second edition presents two complementary contrasting versions of ‘Deep In’ by Stephen Brown. 

Sticking to the strengths of the source material, Faki’s sleek polish makes the centerpiece acid bassline and playful cut-up vocal stand out from the mix even more. Already quite a force to begin with, the momentum only keeps growing as oldschool drum breaks and additional percussion roll in. 

The original’s linear progression is traded for murky, modulating analog squelches on the Deepspace Mix, turning the tune into a dubby late-night groover, which still holds some surpises in store. 

As with all releases of the non-profit platform that is LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be forwarded to the Berlin organization Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

In celebration of Miami Music Week 2019, Solardo and their Sola label have collated a monster 21 track compilation of heavy floor fillers from esteemed producers and rising talent that are rapidly growing to prominence on the scene. The compilation spans multiple realms and impactful styles that have been resonating with DJs and fans alike since Sola came into fruition.

Del 30’s Stay Focused kicks off the compilation with intense magnitude, boasting distorted synth patterns and techno infusions perfect for early hours club play. Moving the compilation into uplifting territories Mason Maynard’s Soul Service possesses diva vocals and captivating synths giving a nod to the 90s house era. 

Elsewhere, Secondcity’s In My Heart (7am Mix) takes us back to Chicago with cosmic patterns and a compelling top line made for the dancefloor. Meanwhile, Hannah Wants makes her exciting debut to Sola with How We You, blending her signature style of weighty subs and immersive breakdowns for a tech house smash. Tuff London line up another underground belter with Heartbreak, featuring a thrilling vocal loop weaved amongst punchy drum lines. 

Following Sola’s debut Miami compilation 2018, the label has achieved impressive success and this compilation is a product of the outstanding talent that the label looks to champion and has been pushing over the past year. Meanwhile, revered producers continue to return with fresh tunes that connect with the imprint’s core values and musicality as Sola becomes a reputable and prominent label amongst its underground peers. August is kicking in hard, the season is halfway gone, and elrow Music keeps tearing up dancefloors across the globe! To keep up the good pace, for our 162nd reference, elrow Music is bringing one of Britain's most interesting imports: Martin Ikin.

With two original tracks, Martin presents 'Rockin Beatz EP' that opens up with
the track naming the EP, in which Ikin starts building the energy with a drum progression with little more than a few FX and vocals on top, to then break into a danceable and groovy track, with a lot of focus around the vocal treatment along the track.

After, we have 'PWR (Original Mix)', a track in which Martin starts with a simple yet catchy drum progression, before breaking into a soulful, techy madness with a clear inspiration on the 90's sounds and vocals. The song maintains its momentum until the end, making this a really powerful track for any time in the floor.

All in all, another great discovery by elrow Music's team, that now becomes part of the big family! Stay tuned this August, as we're about to drop a big one!
