Tim Green is back… with his forthcoming debut release entitled Just People / Monomania, out on September 23rd, on his new label concept Disc Over.

Neoteric in concept, Disc Over is an exciting stage from which Tim will unleash some of his most colourful musical creations, elevating the quintessentially divergent roots of Tim’s music to new heights. The label will afford him the opportunity to be considerably more diverse in his musical output, showcasing a meticulously curated selection of work from up-and-comers and, of course, his peers. An extension of Tim’s personality and current tastes, Disc Over promises to be a sound foundation for forward-thinking music.

Kicking it all off with two original tracks, Tim’s Just People / Monomania veer toward the dark side, musically rich yet teetering precariously on the edge of techno, with two amazing remixes from Timo Mass and My Favorite Robot making this a stunning debut release package for Disc Over.

Here at Toolroom Records, we culminate a massive ten week campaign charting a decade’s worth of releases with The Anniversary Remixes of one of our most influential tracks, Dave Spoon’s ‘At Night’.

Dave Spoon scored a massive dance hit with the release of ‘At Night’ in 2006. Featuring on no less than two dozen separate mix albums, the genre-bending ‘At Night’ epitomised the Toolroom sound of the time, merging elements of electro, house and tech to create a club favourite.

Now, in reverence to the part the track has played in Toolroom’s history, ‘At Night’ receives the remix treatment from Shadow Child and T. Williams, Tom Staar and Leonardo Gonnelli.

‘At Night (The Anniversary Remixes)’ concludes an exhilarating series of releases, looking back at an impressive catalogue of influential releases and updating them for today's dancefloors.

For this exclusive release on Soma, Pan-Pot lend their talents to Slam’s ‘Lifetimes’, providing two fresh and exciting remixes that throb, pulse and build into instant dancefloor classics. 
The EP kicks of with their ‘Bass Times Remix’ where precise, minimalist percussion, vast soundscapes and distorted basslines are laid down underneath a controlled and stripped back original vocal. The track builds nicely to a vox-laden broken beat drop, and a 2 minute long 4/4 techno stomp. Pan- Pot’s ‘Tribute To Life Remix’ follows with yet more murky soundscapes, a thumping kick drum, progressive builds in percussion and the of course that bassline . Alan Fitzpatrick’s latest EP is the product of a particularly productive six months of studio time for the Drumcode regular. Containing five tracks that cover a circular range from pre-party ambiance to tripped-out melodic odyssey; vocal laced, chord driven hooks; barnstorming peak-time hammers; and 123bm afterparty grooves; there is more than the ‘usual’ Drumcode fare on offer within the aptly named ‘Life Through Different Eyes’ EP. A significant release for artist and label; the sonic incarnation of Fitzpatrick’s growing maturity as a producer and an indication as to the next evolution of the Drumcode sound.

Having caught the ears of Techno’s great and good with their recently released Custom Illusion EP, Manic Brothers return to the Drumcode stable with this two-track release for Drumcode Ltd. Continuing the elegantly industrial aesthetic of the Custom Illusion EP, Komplex comes over dreamlike but purposeful with its linear groove and melodic washes morphing through subtle progressions as the intensity is steadily tweaked upwards. Soul Connection goes for a more in-your-face approach on the flip with resounding pads echoing each other to create a distinctive groove that is driven along on a perpetual wave of slamming beats.

The EP starts with Mikael Jonasson’s, ‘Benefit of the Doubt’ which uses dark, melodic bleeps to create tension before the epic chord stabs kick in that resonate over the throbbing bass line. Adam Beyer steps up with the second track ‘Never Really Left Home’ that uses a rhythmic synth-line to create a dark and moody piece of music. Ida Engberg then delivers her unique style of techno using old rave sounds and a huge hoover style synth to create a driving techno track that will keep any dancefloor moving. The Manic Brother’s supply another big track named ‘Different Directions’ using reverberated stabs to create an atmospheric, but still functional track with lots of rhythmic percussion thrown in. Patrick Siech then steps up with the next track, ‘Kill Room’ that also uses atmospheric percussion and stabs to build into a funky drum groove. Joel Mull presents the sixth track on the compilation; ‘Rimson’ that uses hypnotic drums to captures the listener’s attention to lead into a floaty synth and vocal line before the track introduces a pulsating bass line. ‘Second Coming’ is the next offering with Petter B using recurrent percussion to full effect to create a purposeful, heavy hitting techno track. The final track by Cari Lekebusch called ‘Xylopeggiator’, conveys a dark, pounding 5 AM rhythm that uses vocal samples and a melodic synth to create a hypnotic drum pattern.

The label boss The Advent teams up with Spiriakos and they deliver a great release for Kombination Research. The original mix of 'Point Of No Return' is a smooth techno production that builds early on with some nice beats and some subtle effects. Filterheadz deliver their remix on the flip and maintain some of the quirky vibe in the drum work.
