Being able to stand out in a super-saturated market has been more difficult with every passing soundcloud repost. Incorporating relevant styles with one's distinct sound can be a difficult task. Luckily for California based duo TastyTreat, this doesn't pose as problem as seen in their buygore debut EP Wayward, available now for purchase via Beatport, iTunes, & Spotify.

Taking a sharp turn from their previous melodic, feel-good NeonAffect EP, TastyTreat brings alive aggressive verses with features from K theory's Malcolm Anthony, & up-and-coming hip hop enthusiasts Gino Driggs & YLTI all on top of heavy 808's yet still throwing in glittery TastyTreat arpeggios.

This mix was my attempt to create a more up-tempo style around the Mindtality project and without a live audience to engage with over the process, it proved to be difficult. These 17 new tracks were created with an entirely new studio setup and I'm excited to continuing creating more music like this, along with my downtempo styles.
