Recorded in 1999, this was mixed live and contains tracks from all the vinyl releases between number 16 and number 30 on V Recordings, which were released between 1996 and 1999. 

The mix was recorded onto Minidisc and then transferred on to CD. There is only 1 copy in existence and it was gifted to a friend. Check my Instagram page for images of the CD sleeve and inlays which contains the tracklisting!

This is the 2nd part of 2 mixes spanning the first 30 releases on the label.

Promo mix 017 - Tim Clay

So I took this picture of my son Elias and I a while back and thought it would make for a nice design for a mix session, did some editing then decided to put a mix together to fit the vibe of the design and this session is what came out. I think it's one of my most moving and diverse mix compositions thus far, spent a lot of time on it and truly put in my best effort to have it represent the artwork. The session rolls through some techy stuff, a fair amount of atmospheric, some jungly drums, a nice mix of uplifting tunes with a bit of a classic feel as well as a smooth section of rollers, finishing off with a couple soulful tunes from Gravity and Duoscience.
