We’ve been trying forever to squeeze a mix out of Alex Hall & Jean Young that befits their treasured first Saturday of the month residency at The Gun. Due to some technical difficulties, both physically and in the mind - Jean was unable to contribute to Alex's lovely set, and the recording was tragically cut short. We managed to salvage an hour of what was about four hours of glorious swathes of his record collection. This is a delicate, nostalgic, almost linear groove with the only theme being good records.. its fucking excellent.
