Back in 2002, Eminem dropped "Cleaning Out My Closet" and unleashed a tidal wave of angst, mom issues, and lyrical genius. Naturally, I thought: "You know what this needs? A house remix." Armed with FruityLoops, Acid Pro, and blind confidence, I made one. It was chaotic, controversial, and quite divisive amongst the EDM community. 

Fast-forward to 2023 when I dusted off the track, fired up GarageBand (don't judge), and gave the track a glow-up. The 2023 version still nods to the original remix, but now it's sharper, sassier, and a lot more intentional. 

Same percussive heart, but this time layered with tighter sounds, updated instruments, and a bit more anger thrown in. It's part nostalgia trip, part retribution for the crimes of my early 2000s sound library.

Eminem, please don't come for me.
