Today we have the pleasure to present you the third free download of our channel, a great edit from Ricardo Villalobos track "Easy Lee" included in his album "Alcachofa" released on 2003. This special version has been retouched by talented Argentinean producers Last Men On Earth, who managed to transform it into a quality gem that show us some of the sounds and influences that inspire and define their project. This edit has been supported by the likes of Aera, Santiago Garcia, among others and it has become one of the most desired tracks posted on our page during the last months. Release thirty-three has Manjumasi going down under for a showcase of deliciously groovy lo-fi minimal house music from Australian producer Michaelis. Each of the three originals puts forth a heady mix of restrained beats and basslines, complemented by a bevy of subtle sonic details, playful melodic flourishes and washes of ambient texture. The arrangements evolve gradually and intentionally, leaving plenty of time to get absolutely lost in the groove.

Two remixes of Special Assistance round out the package. The first comes from label co-founder Mark Slee, whose Rusty Transistor Dub takes the track in a more melody-forward direction with a modulated FM synth lead that meanders its way through the mix. Next up is Kooscha, another Australian master of minimal groove, with a remix that takes the track into a darker, late-night territory with a focus on atmospherics and a bit of extra shuffle in the groove.

Steve Bug teams up once again with long time collaborator Cle for two tracks of elevated house music. 

Hallucinous slips into a slinky groove from the off - a restless baseline interacting with a charming two note string sound and skipping percussion. 

Discrete Circuit takes things a little deeper vibewise, delivering a tight groove and arpeggiated synths that bring a psychedelic rush to the fore. 

The third track is a remix of the title track by Leeni and Danilo Kupfernagel, who merge a firing deep house rhythm track with dubbed out chord stabs and atmospheric pads and vocal samples.

Crosstown Rebels’ offshoot label Rebellion inaugurates their 2021 release schedule with a four-track EP from YokoO. Titled ​Jivanmuktih​, the release includes a collaboration with Atlanta-based artist Bobi Stevkovski.

Speaking on the release, YokoO described how the current circumstances helped his creativity, stating: “​Following months of stillness away from touring life’s noise, disconnected from technologies and attuned to a profound state of presence in nature, I returned to my studio inspired and determined to create music that is different to what I had been known for. This EP showcases the continuation of my exploration through sounds as I transition further into my creative Self.”

Higher State ​leads proceedings and showcases the French-native at his best. Shimmering synths reside atop a punchy four-four bassline, whilst whispering hats echo softly in the background. The EP’s collaborative effort comes next in the form of ​Spiritus Sexualem​, which sees Bobi Stevkovski appear alongside. Stripped-back and spacious, reverberating vocals create an ethereal feel as minimal kick-hat combos round off the club-ready cut. ​Finis comes next, a progressive dancefloor number that features starry, emotion-fuelled chords before the title track brings things to a close with dubby kicks, soft pads and soothing vocal tones.

France’s ​YokoO​ is an esteemed talent in the melodic techno scene. Releases on Lee Burridge’s iconic All Day I Dream imprint, as well as M.A.N.D.Y.’s Get Physical, have cemented his reputation for all things deep, emotive and dreamy, whilst performances across all five continents have highlighted him as a truly global artist. Atlanta-based ​Bobi Stevkovski continues to establish his presence in the electronic music realm. A good friend of the French artist, Bobi is the founder of both Zamya Fest and Project B.
