German producer and DJ Reboot (Frank Heinrich) has been a driving force in house and techno for over two decades, blending Latin, dub, jazz, funk and world influences into hypnotic, polyrhythmic grooves. A core member of the Cadenza family since the label’s early days, his music embodies its deep, soulful and percussive spirit, with a discography spanning over 200 releases on Cadenza, Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels and Get Physical.

Cadenza Radio 002 - Reboot

Moving deeper into summer, Manjumasi presents its 8th release: the Flamingo EP from fast-rising Polish production talent Pysh. This is a package built on upfront rhythms and jumpy energtic synths that are Pysh's sonic signature.

The title track "Flamingo" is a bouncing groover laid over an undulating bassline. Percussive vocal and synth stabs cut through the mix, layering and weaving their way through the track. The second original tune "Albanian Gang" delves deeper into melodic territory, with an enchanting lead line that gently floats over the top of trippy, stretched out piano motifs. Lots of personality on this one.

First up on remix duties are the steadfast production duo of Markus Homm + Mihai Popoviciu. Here they do what they do best, focusing on the dance floor and the essence of groove. Their stripped back interpretation lets the core structure of the track do its work. The second remix comes from Swedish mastermind Vincent Casanova, who turns in a trippy and dreamy mix with his signature brand of hypnotic rhythms, swirling atmospherics and a lightly broken beat. Perfect for the afterhours or a psychedelic interlude.

Biography
Filip Abramczyk,known professionally by his name Pysh, is a Polish DJ and music producer, living in Berlin. His performances have permanently recorded in the lineups of the largest Polish music clubs and festivals, which was acknowledged by a chapter devoted to him in the book "30 years of the Polish techno scene", placing him among the undisputed leaders. In his  achievements so far, he has shared the stage with leading artists of the world electronic scene, such as Eelke Kleijn, Robag Wruhme, Guy J or Kollektiv Turmstrasse.

The breakthrough moment in his career was the year 2010, when immediately after the release of his debut EP, he won the first place in the remix competition for the song "Regenerate", organized by Book Shade. His approach to electronic music was appreciated by both Polish and foreign promoters, thanks to whom his productions could be heard  all over the world, under the aegis of such
labels like Ritter Butzke, Jeahmon, Click, or Einmusik.

In addition to balancing between the house, indie and melodic genres in his productions, sets and live acts, Pysh interweaves ethnic and folk sounds, which are a kind of hallmark of his work. He uses ambient sounds or samples from old cassettes, which in his remarkable arrangement create a surprising form, constantly rousing the audience  all over the world to dance.
