Yóhan is an ambient/deep techno artist in Seoul and a director of the techno label, Artscope.

He pursuits to make rough and industrial, non-musical noisy sounds into silky and sophisticated moods. He believes that there are some musical energy in all the sounds around us. He also thinks that we all feel some kinds of beauty, feelings and some memories in it and always tries to express emotions of the modern times - “the period of mechanics”.

He creates deep dark but warm texture of space made of ambient, industrial sounds to express his deepest pain and feeling. And always tries to investigate a new sound and a new combination of sounds.

Resident DJ of the German music label Glitchy.Tonic.Records. During his time on the label he released three compilations:
Hypno.Tembr and Fractal Tales (1,2), which includes tracks of the world-famous trance musicians. His work on the label has not gone unnoticed and Dmitry is now also signed in English-Australian label Insonitus records.
Having a lot of fellow musicians/DJs around the world and supporting music labels ensures that Asygen always has unheard and unreleased tracks for his performances. In addition to trance music he collects vinyl techno records of a deep and hypnotic sound. Organizer, DJ of Te4enie - techno parties in Moscow Region. Co-Founder of Touched music - promo group who oriented on hypnotic techno parties with known artists from the labels: Semantica, PoleGroup, Midgar, The Gods Planet, Hypnus and etc. As a DJ he played in the Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, India, regularly performs in Russia.

Repeated vibrations from machines, friction sounds between metals, fine echo of compressed air and cutting oil. The Volath's sound is based on all the sounds produced in the factory. Countless sounds that are not common to others become a language that can express everything for him, who has been exposed to daily life since childhood.
 
From inner whispers to invisible distant universes, portraying images that cannot be seen in their heads through factory-produced language. That is the direction Volath pursues.
