After many months of closure, fate smiled upon us this past New Year’s when Paquita Gordon (Italian vinyl-cognoscente and Terraforma resident) paid us a visit to dust off the cobwebs at Horoom. An avid explorer, in her travels as much as her bringing together of like-minded musicians for experimentations in sound, there’s a freedom in her craft. For this, the last hour of her set, she channels this libertine energy with the type of fun, high-octane amalgam of sounds she’s come to be known for. Each year, Sounds of Khemit opens a new chapter in its mythological journey.
