Blind Vision is the project started in 1988 by Andreas Froese (former Club Bizarre / Technoclub DJ) that released on New Zone (parent label of Zoth Ommog and Suck Me Plasma) some classic EBM & "Sound of Frankfurt" hits featuring collaborations and production work by Ralf Henrich aka Ra Hen (Robotiko Rejekto, Axodry), Markus Nikolai (Bigod 20), Sevren Ni-Arb (X-Marks The Pedwalk) and Claus Larsen AE (Leaether Strip).

"Loot At Me" brings together some of the best tracks and remixes including "Tanz Den Teufel", Don't Look At Me" and "Near Dark".

Mannequin Records is proud to announce the release of the Miami 80's synth/goth heroes Life in Sodom, with the repress of their rare first 12'' single "The Stains". This extended edition includes a bonus track - 'Phantasmagoria'- and a friendly dancefloor cut of the title-track by the label head Alessandro Adriani. 

Conceived by vocalist Gerrie Brand, the band was starting out as performance art, and quickly became more as Gerrie surrounded himself with some of the best musicians from the club and art scene in South Florida, including our dear Mystic Bill, who was playing the guitar with the band in the early stages.

Originally self-released in 1991, the single "The Stains" became an underground club hit and charted on many college radio stations, in both the extended and the original version. The single was distributed as a hard to get promo only release. The repress contains also the title-track of the single “Phantasmagoria" - another cult tune for early 90's goth djs - originally released in 1992. Mega tip!

Mannequin Records is elated to start a serie of re-presses dedicated to the legendary Nocturnal Emissions, one of the best kept secrets of the industrial genre since the 1970s.

Led by Nigel Ayers and Caroline K, the band was one of the first to use tape cutting, avant-garde art, and underground video works to create a stage experience that was being cultivated by like-minded artists like Throbbing Gristle, SPK and 
Cabaret Voltaire. 

Originally self released in 1988 on Earthly Delights, 'Spiritflesh’ is a masterpiece and a major reference for the early drone/dark ambient minds.

By the time the album came out, Nocturnal Emissions had already produced several albums of electronic music which varied from noisy to funky. Displaying his usual perversity, Nigel chose to ditch electronic dance music immediately before the acid house revolution and produce a series of utterly compelling atmospheric albums which are often referred to these days as being “ambient industrial”.

"Spiritflesh" was the first offering by the new shape of Nocturnal Emissions. The record “came out of a long, hard thinking, a personal examination of my own motives for working within music.” Nigel Ayers played church harmonium, chime and music box on the record, and used samples of chimpanzees, cattle, and African and European wild birds. While generally ambient, the music is not like Brian Eno’s work; it is atmospheric, but impossible to relegate to the background.

“There’s always a dangerous intrusion of the real world into our music,” Ayers said. “We’re looking into the relationship between people and the environment, the kind of feedback which happens between people and locations. Underneath it all, this planet has got its own message.”

MNQ 103 Nocturnal Emissions - Spiritflesh LP

Mannequin Records is proud to announce a new press of Decadance "On And On (Fears Keep On)", one of the most iconic underground Italo-wave track ever.

Produced by Franco Rago & Gigi Farina, the masterminds behind cult italo disco projects ‘Lectric Workers, Wanexa, Expansives, Atelier Folie, Peter Richard and many more, the single was originally released in 1983 by Proto Records. 

Permeated by a dark a eerie synths, a perfectly programmed Roland TR-808 and an outstanding analog production, "On and On (Fears Keep On)" belongs to what we like to define "dark italo disco" or "italo wave". Here's there's an extra touch of cosmic / interstellar feeling, sharing the same feelings (and the same synthetic hardware) of "Spacer Woman". Not a intergalactic travel this time, but the wait for somebody to come from the sky.

The best year for Italo Disco music from a true Italo lover's standpoint is without a doubt 1983. The list is endless and really impressive. We could mention Gaznevada, N.O.I.A., Kano, Finzy Kontini, Gary Low, Gazebo, Righeira.. but let's keep the focus more in the "underground" hits:  Mr. Flagio, Charlie, Casco, B.W.H., Roberto Onofri & Dee Jay Program Band, Amin Peck, Paul Paul, Fred Ventura, International Music System, Kirlian Camera, My Mine and, to cut the long story short, Decadance. Alessandro Adriani has become a trusted source for all kinds of beyond-the-grave minimal synth, industrial and coldwave delights. Aside from his work in releasing forgotten gems and up to the minute synth incantations, Adriani has also been quietly issuing out his own music as well. 

Originally released in 2016, 'Montagne Trasparenti' is now repressed on Mannequin Records with a full new graphic design.

"New wave/neu beta psychopomp, Alessandro Adriani ov Mannequin Records, makes an arresting solo LP debut with Montagne Transparenti’s ghoulish suite of atypical Italian horror atmosfear and stylised body music, highly recommended if you're into Demdike Stare, Not Waving or Italian Library Records..." The album was recorded between Adriani’s native Rome and adopted Berlin, “in various years of travelling, composing, fighting with cables and machines.”

In the last years Alessandro contribute to shape the new EBM and Techno sound with productions for labels like Stroboscopic Artefacts, Jealous God, Pinkman and Mannequin. Curator and resident DJ at Berghain/Panorama Bar and guest curator at Berlin Atonal 2018, Alessandro presented many of the tracks included in this LP with an audio-visual interactive 3D premiere live show in collaboration with Nuova Astrazione.
