Marseille-based art-techno-punk artist, under his Cardinal & Nun moniker, through his 2021 album on L.I.E.S completely flipped the script, fusing gothic vocals, raw guitars and analog sounds to huge acclaim. Exclusive to Curses’ "Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX" compilation, "Freak and Weak" is another startling track from the Frenchman, where haunting vocals, reverb-drenched guitar and skeletal rhythms align to sound like something that escaped from the same sessions that produced The Cure’s Faith LP.

Exclusive to Curses’ "Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX" compilation, the darkly surreal haunting romance "Freak and Weak", WL//WH is very pleased to premiere, is another startling track from Bodjollé where haunting vocals, reverb-drenched guitar and skeletal rhythms align to sound like something that escaped from the same sessions that produced The Cure’s Faith LP.

"Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX" is the second compilation for Eskimo Recordings compiled and curated by Berlin-based Musician and DJ Luca Venezia, aka Curses, to explore the darker side of club music. Spread across 3CDs and three 2LPs Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX features a mammoth 49 tracks that join the dots between early industrial pioneers Throbbing Gristle, EBM legends like Nitzer Ebb and the post-punk experiments of people like Malcolm McLaren and Big Audio Dynamite with some of the most exciting artists around today, such as Boy Harsher, Nuovo Testamento and Years of Denial.
"Chapter 2" moves the night on, and this is the sound of the clubs I love to both play and just hang out in these days, clubs where the people involved put a lot more time into digging through the crates than working on their Instagram Reels. These are places where you're as likely to find a band on stage as you are a DJ, where 80's German electro-pop by a band like Boytronic seamlessly flows into tracks like Silent Servant’s 'Non Fiction'. Timeless music that can be romantic, dreamlike and ethereal one moment, then veer into dark, industrial sounds the next.

Inspired by Front 242, Skinny Puppy and Clock DVA, Arno and Tibor were fellow students at the Center of Electronic Music (CEM) in Arnhem, Netherlands during the mid 80's.

After getting a record deal with the Belgian Antler Subway, and started producing their first EP, originally meant as EBM. But since they were in the middle of proceeding, they took the chance to incorporate some of those influences in their first record, 'Force D'Inquisition', in 1990, which became one of the earliest Dutch house records.

Track A2 is the legendary 'Apocalypse', which was quite a hit at the time both in the EBM and acid scene, with gentlemen like Frankie Knuckles playing it in his sets.
Arno Peeters was later part of Random XS and Urban Electro and worked solo as Spasms on Djax-Up-Beats.

Today on the Meta Moto platform, we’re thrilled to present the 10th release from KRI Records, marking the debut solo record by Hayter known for his work with Dog Balls and the Westlake & Hayter duo. As longtime admirers of Hayter’s evocative synth artistry and ominous vocoder tones, we’re excited to showcase the Everyday EP. This release effortlessly blends early-2000s Gigolo vibes with Detroit electro-funk and wave-inspired anthems.

Adding to the EP is a powerful acid-infused remix by Credit 00, Hayter’s fellow electro poet from Leipzig. Hayter has previously made waves as part of Dog Balls alongside Milium and as one half of Westlake & Hayter, among other projects. He’s also a key member of the Leipzig-based Clear Memory collective and label. The Everyday EP will be available on lathe-cut vinyl and digital formats starting November 29.

For its tenth anniversary, Killekill decided it is worth to resurrect the main label and bring it back in full effect with another compilation of tracks by its beloved family members, favorite artists and bestest friends. Cat number 020 was never released, and they thought, this celebratory occasion was perfect to fill that gap, so everything is cleared, and they can step into the next decade.
Here is a track by Alienata in cooperation with Sync 24, one of the realest souls in electronic music and electro in particular. They have produced an electro belter of incredible energy - driving beats, acid bassline, lots of sweeps and fiddles and a voice from outer space.
