2024 is a significant milestone for Milk & Sugar, as it commemorates his 25th anniversary in the music industry. He chooses to celebrate this achievement in style with the fifth release of the year. Among many other highlights to come.

Several DJ's come to mind when speaking about the best parties you've had in Ibiza in the early 2000 years. It was 2003 when Milk & Sugar tore the roof off the Space Terrace with "Let The Sun Shine" and set the mark for one of his biggest hits until now, reaching top 10 in many countries, and a #1 in the American Billboard Hot Dance charts.

“Let The Sun Shine” has cemented its status as a classic over the decades, and to breathe new life into the track, Milk & Sugar has hired Joezi and Enzo Siffredi two top-notch remixers to put their own spin on the track.

Joezi and Enzo Siffredi, two of the hottest Afro House producers, will bring their unique style and perspective to the table, and their unique interpretation of "Let The Sun Shine" promises to introduce a fresh new sound to fans of the genre, adding another layer of excitement to the anniversary celebration.

The Australian DJ, producer and musician Jad Lee likes to have several irons in the fire all at the same time. For instance he's a member of Mitzi (along Charles Murdoch and Dominiqe Bird), one half of the pan-pacific Indiepop duo Twiggy Lashes and a solo artist known as Jad & The Ladyboy. Under this moniker he releases music which can be described as soulful house with plenty of disco influences. For “Never Come Back Down” Jad had singer Mark Borgazzi in his studio to cut a precious, groovy two-stepper into a genuine pop diamond. In order not to get only radio airplay, but also to be played out in gloomy underground clubs with extra fat subwoofers Yannick provides his homicidal Sexfactmix. With its untamed bassline and a milling-machine like synthesizer this feels like an unchecked punch to the gut. There will be blood on the dancefloor!

It dovetails nicely that the second track of this 12inch is called  “Sometimes Feelings Hurt” and that for a second time round Mark Borgazzi carries us off to the wonderland of the good groove. Again a song that sounds as good in the club as at home. A quality feature Sonar Kollektiv strikes a blow for for fairly long time. This remains for now Jad Lee's first and only release on the Berlin based label. But as you all know: Never say never.

Jordan has a wicked eye for an edit. The co-founder of Belfast's The Night Institute incited something close to a riot when his rework of Jan Hammer's 'Crockett's Theme' was debuted during his AVA Festival x Boiler Room performance, and he's back at it again with a four track edit EP on his own Nocturne label.

The artists stock has continued to soar, with mixes locked in for Feel My Bicep, Truants and Ninja Tune's So Solid Steel, in addition to releases on Abandon Silence, Huntley and Palmers, !K7 Records and Tiga's Turbo Recordings, all of which have been warmly received from some of the best belonging to contemporary dance music - Bicep, Or:la, Gerd Janson and more.

This adaptation of Company B's 'Fascinated' is perfectly suited for when the lights go up. Friends up on each others shoulders, arms waving wildly in the air. All dancing as one to the same elevated groove.
