Hour one is my usual trademark mix of new and old, weird and wonderful, and thoroughly funky. I bring you delights from some lovely people I know - Uptown Funk, Fingerman and the delightful Wahine, who I’m thrilled to finally be able to play on the show… as well as some fine product from Dr Packer, Fonzi Thronton, Fatback Band, J Morrison and Louis La Roche. I also have my absolute track of the moment, My Destiny by Jolyon Petch - can’t stop listening to this little slice of joy.

In the second hour I’m pumped to hand things over to Tom Helowicz, AKA T Sounds, for a high energy hour of tunes on the housier of things. Tom’s a talented DJ and producer, currently residing in Liverpool with releases already this year on some top labels. I’m over the moon to get Tom on the show at last as it’s been a very long time coming - won’t bore you with the details, but he was meant to be on last year. Anyway, he’s finally made it on and absolutely bossed it, showing us all how it’s done with an hour of funky, housed up, jackin grooves. It’s been a while since I’ve had guest mix that’s been a full on hour of 120+ bpm house, but damn does it sound good!
