We always loved Thelma Houston's cover, but DJs often play the punchier Harold Melvin & the blue notes version instead, so we tried to give it our little touch to change that.

Story time -

I started and finished most of this record in late 2016, right around the time I got signed to Ministry of Sound/Sony after 'Get It On' took off. Everyone loved this record, and we were all so excited for it. Sometimes the business side of the industry though will hinder you, or hold you back, and stifle your creativity, and stifle the release. You start to think it'll never see the light of day, or that you just wasted months on something. 

2.5 years later, this record is FINALLY out. I never stopped dreaming or believing, my friends never stopped supporting. Kelli-Leigh was patient and let me hold onto the record and believed in it as much as I did. These are the people you want to surround yourself with. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. If you believe in something, and you want it so bad, don't ever give up, because you'll never succeed if you quit. Today this song is in New Music Friday UK, and Friday Cratediggers, and it's just the beginning.
