As a thank you for a wonderful Gaggalacka festival at the end of last summer, here comes the next musical journey for you: A Purple Playground. It consists of eleven tracks bringing you the feeling of the festival sound from noon until night plus three marvelous downbeat tracks as a soft and emotional closing. Many of the involved artists have already played at previous Gaggalacka parties and some promising new names have been chosen for this compilation. Enjoy this journey and hope to see you all again when the next Gaggalacka calls from the 5th to the 7th of September, 2014. Vasilis Kesalidis (aka Spinnet) and Ioannis Konstantios formed One Arc Degree in 2011. The project is based on work-time asymmetry, since Ioannis lives in Athens while Vasilis moved from Thessaloniki to Kalymnos island a few years back. Cloud based technologies and modern social media enable them to work on each project on their own free time, expanding each other’s ideas seamlessly. In most of their works you will find the ethereal soprano voice of Georgia Irakli. Either as a spectre behind the curtains or as a dramatic central presence, her voice never fails to heighten the senses. One Arc Degree is a music project about feelings and memories. It’s purpose is to explore the multitude of ways to express these feelings back into music, restoring those memories while assimilating the passage of time.

Imperfection In Perspective (Nomad Ambient Vol. 1)

Avaline Ingels and The Living Creatures reimagine the Drum & Bass landscape with *Lyrics Not Included* — a record where rhythm takes the lead and emotion lingers just behind it. The beats drive fast, layered, and alive; the piano follows its own path, slower, reflective, almost stubbornly human.  

Rather than competing, these two worlds coexist — the breakbeats push forward, while Avaline’s piano drifts like memory, a current beneath the surface. Each note feels intentional, spacious, and deeply felt against the velocity of the drums.

Spaceship Earth

Man of No Ego is a project focused on healing through sound. The music is imbued with universal messages coming from teachers such as Alan Watts, Osho, Ramana Maharishi and follows the 432hz tunning principle. Dimitar initially heard the name Man of No Ego from an Osho lecture. Besides that, as a person, he leads Yoga Classes in his home town Sofia and has released an еBook. In the recent years Man of No Ego has stepped into the role of Ecstatic Dance space holder as a DJ. After facilitating events arround the world, his latest release is inspired by the Ecstatic Dance medicine and features a more shamanic and activating sound.
