Wir freuen uns sehr youl'aike in unserer Serie willkommen zu heißen! Die zwei Veranstalter aus Köln, die regelmäßig im Reinecke Fuchs veranstalten, haben ein schönes druckvolles Set aufgenommen, dass wir euch heute vorstellen möchten.

Wie und wann seid ihr zur Elektronischen Musik gekommen?

Nachdem wir 2009 nach Köln gezogen und gemeinsam mit dem Studium begonnen haben, sind wir immer regelmäßger zu elektronischer Musik feiern gegangen, haben auch private Sessions gemacht und sind uns näher gekommen - musikalisch versteht sich. Auch in der Kölner Szene haben wir uns immer wohler gefühlt und so kam die Idee zustande, unseren musikalischen Betrag zu leisten. 

Welche Musikalischen Momente sind euch besonders in Erinnerung geblieben?

Einer der schönsten Momente war sicherlich das Sonnenuntergang Set von unserem musikalischen Vorbild rampue auf dem Bachstelzen Floor der Fusion im Sommer 2014 - Gänsehaut pur. Für uns persönlichen sind das vor allem die Auftritte im Sonnenschein unter freiem Himmel, wenn man die Energie der tanzenden Leute in der Natur regelrecht in sich aufsaugen kann. 

Wo konnte man uns bisher antreffen?

Angefangen haben wir in kleinen Bars und Clubs in Köln, mittlerweile dürfen wir auch regelmäßig in den angesagten Läden der Stadt spielen (manchmal auch irgendwo im Wald, aber psst) - mit dem Highlight im JackWho, wo wir auf einer Party, kurz vor der Schließung des Clubs, mitwirken konnten. Mittlerweile kam auch der ein oder andere Gig außerhalb der Domstadt dazu. Im Sommer treiben wir uns seit drei Jahren auf mehreren kleineren und mittlerweile auch größeren Festivals und Open Airs herum und wollen uns hier auch weiter etablieren. Stolz sind wir hier auf das Katzensprung Festival, das Artlake Festival, das Zugvögel Festival, das Panama Open Air, das Kobolde Festival und nicht zuletzt das Auf Weiter Flur Festival, wo wir unseren ersten Festivalauftritt überhaupt hatten.

Gibt es Zukunftspläne?

Wir wollen uns gerne langfristig in der Szene etablieren und unseren Beitrag dazu leisten, dass elektronische Musik in ihren verschiedenen Facetten wahrgenommen und geliebt wird. Wir zelebrieren verspielte Melodien genau so sehr wie klare Bässe und wollen die Leute dazu animieren, die Musik als Ganzes zu feiern und nicht nur immer stumpf auf den nächsten Drop zu warten. Derzeit sind wir fleißig am produzieren, sodass man bald unsere ersten eigenen Produktionen erwarten darf, natürlich mit gewohnter Liebe zum Detail.

Was aber definitiv passieren wird ist ein weiteres Projekt, welches sich nur „Kaffee und Kuchen“ schimpfen wird. „Kaffee und Kuchen“ bedeutet Musik von UNS SELBER für Euch.
