midiSequencer modified echo fx & animoog

I've modified the echoes to not play if the velocity is 0. Before this was limited to 1 so every echo played. However many synth patches aren't really velocity sensitive - i.e. vel=1 is much like vel=80 or 127 say.
As the gain is a mulitplier (echo 1=note vel*gain, echo2=note vel*gain*gain etc) you now have the ability to shorten the number of echoes played.

If you add this to a synth with delay fx, you can end up with interesting rhythms.

Here is animoog tweaking with only 1 note (initially) sequence. It become 2 notes later on.

Showing that by the time us beta testers got this app (feb 2016 for me) it was already showing it's true power.

This is a patch I created to work on modulate the 921A/B driver PWM as much as possible.

It's not a musical piece, but rather one capturing a session where I pushed and nudged the modulation to the fx.

An improv session with the new midiSequencer realtime controls.

7 of the 8 controls allow me to modify moog model 15 app quickly without having to go to the M15 app (except here for intro/outro ddelay).

Audiobus hosts M15->Conv Reverb->Audioshare, & MidiSequencer.
Model 15 app is playing a Rubicon bass patch of mine. All possible CC's are mapped so that I can setup this sequence to tweak the controls directly. 

I could probably have played the sub-VCO better, but that's just me knowing what CC values map well!

This piece starts off with full mix/feedback on M15's ddelay - which I start to reduce to the main sequence.





midiSequencer realtime controls 21 sep 2016

So I've been creating 3 or 4 sequences in Quantum, so wanted to see what I could do with just one four step sequence and moog model model 15 (nothing else other than audio share to capture in audiobus).
This represents Quantum at it's simplest level. I'd even say simpler than MidiSequencer.

Moog M15 is doing all the work here, Quantum just drives the pitch to create a nice pattern.

Main features of the M15 patch are 1) detunes OSC 1,2 & VCO 2) ping pong delay at 100% mix and 80% feedback, timing =258ms to match 30bpm sequence.
3) VCF & Fixed filter used as traditional moog filters 4) envelopes used to define definition to notes and 5) mixer used to blend.
