see this is not the first thing I've worked on that involved ghosts. I'm already type cast to do things for ghosts and I've accepted my fate tbh

But anyway. I had a -ton- of fun providing and making sounds and music for this. I had to say that the composing was the most challenging part as I was partly burned out from working on other films that month, as well as the sweet challenge of working with a very minimal palette. I was stumped on the score sound's inspiration until I a, was reminded of Mini Metro, and b, reminded of a small music clip I made a while back: https://soundcloud.com/lizrainsberry/cascading-consumptions-original-vsmall-instrumental-piece So I used elements of this as well as its palette and it became its own thing, really. 

It also originally has some percussion that David and I chose to omit from the film to let it breathe between scenes. But for this version and how I want to arrange it, I've brought it back!! 

So yeah here you go kids, an arrangement of sections of the film's score, enjoy, etc

my first thing in sonic pi: a simple translation from sheet music, using the default beep synth for bass and the blade runner synth for treble.

vibe: a young woman looking out of a big window at sunset, far above the ground in a grey mechatronic world, with a steaming cup of tea and maybe a plant... pinks fading into deep purples as night falls.
