Hailing from India, Manthan Gupta is the man behind the psychedelic trance project Mindgroove.
His connection with psytrance began in 2016, captivating him with it's mesmerising rhythms & otherworldly sounds.
In 2020 he embarked on a creative journey, delving deep into the realms of music production.
Establishing his presence in the psytrance scene, Mindgroove released his debut EP "Mephisto`s Nightmare" on Drema Crew Records & followed shortly after with several tracks featuring on VA compilations on various labels like Sonektar Records , Ancient Druids.
The Mindgroove sound is not pigeonholed by one specific style, taking elements from forest, darkpsy & various other psychedelic subgenres, pushing the boundaries of sound, creating a new and exciting story with each individual track.
Since embarking on his production journey Manthan has been busy working on several other projects including his melodically explorative psychill , progressive , Hitech project , Psytrance "Neuroattack" signed to the renowned Iono Records , Regroup , 360feature , Hitech Dojo ,Geomagnetic etc.
In addition to working on music for both projects he also runs a psytrance academy sharing his production & dj knowledge with newcomers to the scene & creates preset & sample pack for darkpsy music production enthusiast`s.
