This is a mix of many of my favorite Afro Downtempo tracks, including several of my unreleased edits as well as some classics that I have been playing over the last 2-3 years. 

African music holds a special place in my heart. Whether it be Morocco, Mali, Angola, something inside be resonates with the frequency of rhythms and melodies, and most of all the voices. Without the need to understand what is being said I feel the spirit of so many of these artists in me. 

This mix is a journey through the deserts, jungles, and villages of Africa, featuring remixes and edits of many amazing classic artists such as, Rokia Traoré, Oumou Sangaré, Ali Farka Touré, Fatoumata Diawara, Sonah Jobartah and more. 

Most of popular music in North & South America as well as Europe can have its roots traced back to Africa. The vibrant and diverse cultures of mama Africa have spread around the world influencing cultures in many ways. 

Please take the time to listen to the original albums and music of these artists, they are a great inspiration to me and musicians all around the world.

Meaning that essentially everything is a holobiont, because every macro-species lives in symbiosis with some other species. You're a holobiont.

Multiplex is a very special tune out via @timeresonance on their Eclecta I compilation! 
The release represents a year of collection and intention and includes 17 tunes from some really top-notch producers including Dillard, Mindex, Supertask, kLL sMTH, Shwex, and so many more talented homies. On top of the roster, the stylistic curation and order of these tracks is so synchronistic considering the range of artists and styles involved. There's this thread of vibey lush chillness throughout the whole journey. One of my favorite comps I've been involved in and I highly recommend a listen from start to finish.

Chilean Producer, merci merci, introduces a four-track, hazy EP titled ‘Uma’. Opening track, ‘CCS (feat An Go)’, is a leftfield aesthetic filled with lush sensations and dreamy escapades that transport you to South American dreamland with kilometers of mountainous roads hugging the Andes. CCS’s constant tempo, ethereal crescendos and acid-laden basslines bridges a nice gap between couch-lounging after-parties. Or enjoyed while cruising between the lines in the automobile as you enjoy the scenic views from afar like the vocals that dispel into the air.
