Being great admirers of Michael and Paul’s work, we’re honoured to be the first label releasing their music outwith their own eponymous label and we can’t wait to share these four tracks with the world! Adam Pit’s Grounded EP sees the space•lab favourite exploring deeper, techno-inspired terrains. Opening track, ‘Schtoopbloop’ traces mystical synth lines and expansive vocals, underpinned by a satisfyingly substantial, driving baseline. Track two, ‘Tiptoe’, enters Pits’ iconic breaksy palette - equal parts dreamy and slick, this is the wipeout soundtrack for the next century. On the flipside, Konduku dips his toe into remix duties, offering up a shimmering, spiralling rework of the original. Finally, closing up the release, title track ‘Grounded’ growls into view, rising from sub-heavy foundations into dubby, treacle-speed sounds.

An in-house ep to put the Neurocrank label in motion, courtesy of Harrison Sewards, al dente (@al-den-te).

Signature drones and haunting vocals meet playful melodies in a more slinked out, but recognisably Harrison style of house. Adorned with characteristically unpredictable yet precise percussion, the ep finds its way into a space as ominous as it is infectious.

To top it off is a remix from the one and only Ulo S (@reptant_the_lizard), marking the first release under the more tech-house leaning Reptant alias. This deep dub of Hey Crontis brings a euphoric end to the ep, hands up, shoulders still bopping to a bassline undeniably done by the lizard.

Close friend of the label, @Tywi is best known for having co-founded Haws with our very own Jmes as well as the boys Sub Rosa and Rhodri Price back when we were all living in Cardiff nearly 8 years ago ⁉️

Since then Tywi has worked tirelessly to craft Haws into one of the most beloved labels on the scene, whilst continuing to throw wicked parties in the Welsh capital and beyond. In the background Tywi has been honing his skills as a producer and over the last couple of years he has released on a couple of compilations and most recently put together his inaugural solo EP on Duality Trax. 

Earth System sees Tywi display a different side to his production, taking inspiration from 90's Goa and prog producers, he has put together a tune that just seems to grow in stature each time you play it. Thanks so much for trusting us with this one mate!

After Denzel’s debut EP ‘Techniques 4 Life’, the quest for finding those approaches continues. The Helsinki night owl draws from a range of influences here on his sophomore EP ‘Glorified Intake’, leading things into a murkier territory than his previous, with tracks made during a transitional period between two cities, H & B.

The first track HKI 13 is an ode to roots. The track is held together by a swerving astral arpeggio combined with chants from a village dance off and stabs that liken to that one Balearic house anthem… The Sun is well on its way below.

Nightrun reduces things to a darker core, howling into the night, embodying a state rather than telling a story. Time goes by, how is it already tomorrow? An after hours tune with a bassline for a hook. Doesn’t get much sleazier than that. Getting down, getting low.

On the flipside, we’ve made it to the beginning of the end, phased out the doubts and gathered up the strength to go on — things are looking brighter. A voice inside your head — trust only yourself.

Finally on the last stretch, light has subsided and darkness has landed once again. We’ve thrown out any notion of what, where and who. Those things don’t matter anymore: we’ve perfected “the state”. It’s go time.
