Mantist is a African Australian's producer, hip-hop/spoken word performer. Mantist has studied sound and film at SAE/Qantm College Brisbane, Australia in 2011. 
In 2007, Mantist has formed a hip-hop crew called No Pain No Gain (NPNG) Crew with rapper (G-Gay) whom Mantist has met in a Taekwondo classes. 
The two rappers have performed together from 2007 to early 2009 until G-Jay moved to a different state due to personal circumstances. 
Mantist continue as a solo artist and has released his first EP album “Out of Poverty into the Glory” toward the end of 2009, which consist of 10 tracks. 
The EP album sold 1000 printed copies and 350 digital sales in the first year. 
The productions of the album were fully funded by Access Arts. 
In the beginning of 2011, Mantist has formed forces with his fellow South Sudanese Australian and long time friend, Bolo. 
The two Brisbane based rappers began writing songs together and performing frequently throughout Brisbane. 
Their live shows have been describes as energetic, funky and fresh. 
They have stated in an interview that, they’re largely influence by Nas, Shaggy and Busta Rhymes. 
The boys have performed in some of the most celebrated festivals in Brisbane such as Brisbane Festival, Zillmere Multicultural festival and they have headlined in World Refugee day with an audience of more than 13 000. They have received impressive media and editorial coverage in the following publications: The Courier Mail, MX, City News, Scene magazine, The Chronicle, etc. Furthermore radio stations such as SBS radio, ABC Coast FM, Toowoomba City 87.6 FM, 4KW radio and 4ZZZ have played their music and conducted on-air interviews with them.

Damian Robert Nesta Marley, also known around the world as “Junior Gong” and more recently as “Gongzilla” was born in 1978 to parents Bob Marley and Cindy Breakspeare, Miss World 1976.  As a young adult, he developed a passion and a gift to speak for those who cannot always speak for themselves. A self-proclaimed ‘Spiritual Revolutionary’, Damian has worked assiduously to carve his own niche in music history and to add a new perspective to the Marley legacy for the 21st century. 

At the age of 13, Damian began performing in a group called “The Shepherds” which comprised of Shiah Coore (son of Third World guitarist Cat Coore) and currently a member of his band, and Yashema Beth McGreggor, daughter of reggae singers Freddie Mcgreggor and Judy Mowatt and then began touring with his brothers, Stephen, Ky-mani, Julian and Ziggy. 

By 1996, Damian had already made his stamp as a different kind of Marley when he released his first solo album “Mr. Marley”, a heavily dancehall-influenced album produced by his brother Stephen Marley.  His second album “Halfway Tree” was released in 2001 by a major record label and showcased Damian’s unique gift for blending dancehall, reggae and hip-hop styles.  This album won Damian much recognition and remained on the Billboard Top Reggae Album Charts for 158 weeks and earned him his first Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2002. 
While honored by this recognition by the global music fraternity, Damian continued to work in the studio, laying the groundwork for the tracks that would become his highly anticipated album, “Welcome To Jamrock”. The lyrics in this album presented Marley as a true spiritual revolutionary, as he used his talent to evoke a spiritual change while trying to enforce a better way of thinking.  He is described as “rhyming with the conviction of a street preacher with the intellect of a university economist”.  

Damian’s hit single “Welcome to Jamrock” was listed as one of the Top 100 Songs of the Decade by Rolling Stone, and at the 2006 Grammy Awards, he won Best Reggae Album and Best Urban/Alternative Performance for Welcome to Jamrock. Damian is the only Jamaican reggae artist in history to win two Grammy Awards on the same night. He is also the only reggae artist to win in the Best Urban/Alternative Performance category at the Grammy Awards. The New York Times called Welcome to Jamrock the “best reggae song of the decade.” 
Welcome to Jamrock led the pathway to Damian’s critically acclaimed collaboration with Nas for 2010’s much lauded album “Distant Relatives” – a project which explored the relationships between reggae, hip-hop and Africa. The album title refers not only to the bond between the artists, but the connection to their African ancestry, which inspired the album both musically and lyrically. USA Today referred to the album as a “potent and often provocative collaboration” and by Rolling Stone as “an Afrocentric winner.” The album debuted at Number 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and Number 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Rap Albums and Reggae Albums charts, with Billboard heralding the album as “a dynamic hybrid.”    

The Distant Relatives Tour kicked off in 2011 and saw Damian traveling and performing for thousands of fans all over the world, including South America, Europe, The United Kingdom, The Caribbean and North America.  

Damian continued to cross musical boundaries in 2012, as he went on to partner with Skrillex for their groundbreaking track “Make It Bun Dem”, which Rolling Stone called “a monster mash up of dubstep and dancehall” and has led to several remixes of the original version.  Damian recently released two other singles; “Set Up Shop” and  “Affairs of the Heart” which both received widespread airplay. 

Damian continues to tour with his band all over the world as a way of entertaining and healing as he continues to spread the message for those whose voices cannot be heard. He is working with his brothers Stephen and Julian under their Ghetto Youths International Label, to discover, develop and sign gifted artistes by applying their musical talent and vast experience to create new and different styles of music.  

Damian is currently in the studio working on his upcoming solo album.

Reggae Rajahs are India's first reggae sound system. The crew of DJs and MCs are reggae entertainers and promoters based out of New Delhi. Formed in 2009, they have dedicated themselves to spreading the sounds of dub, reggae and dancehall music across India. 

They frequently perform at venues throughout the country and have played at festivals such as Sunburn Festival (Goa), SulaFest (Nashik), Enchanted Valley Carnival (Lonavala), Escape Festival (Naukuchiatal) and Ragasthan (Jaisalmer). They host and curate their own stage at the NH7 Weekender Festival called the ‘Dubstation’.

Reggae Rajahs have opened for Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion in New Delhi and have also shared the stage with a number of established international artists such as Dub Inc. (France), Million Stylez (Sweden), Ziggi Recado (Holland), Tippa Irie, Apache Indian, Mr. Williamz, Brother Culture, Soom T, Deadly Hunta, Mungo's HI Fi, Gaudi, Dub Phyzix (all UK), Supa Bassie & Sargento Garcia (Spain), Subatomic Sound, South Rakkas Crew (both USA) and Dreadsquad (Poland) amongst others.

In 2013, Reggae Rajahs started their own online weekly radio show called Pressure Drop on Radio79.com and also made their second appearance on the European tour circuit, performing at major festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Sziget Festival (Hungary), Outlook Festival (Croatia), Uprising Reggae Festival (Slovakia) and Ostroda Reggae Festival (Poland).

Reggae Rajahs has now become a truly international sound with DJ MoCity representing the crew in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Istanbul, BeLights in Malta and Diggy Dang, General Zooz and Ziggy B in New Delhi.

Bila-wa is a platform that uses the fusion of Poetry, hip-hop, storytelling and local instruments for a positive cause. Under a slogan Bila-wa Dwon wa (literally meaning our voices).
The name Bila-wa comes from Luo words BILA (a long circular tube from an animal’s horn played by blowing from one end to produce sound) and WA meaning ours therefore ‘BILA-WA’...."OUR HORN" or Our Voices. The members appeal to the world to listen to their voices. 
Bila is used in Luo culture and tradition for creating awareness or call for attention about some happenings in the society.
This movement uses the conscious content form of hip-hop, where a poet/rapper is generally positive or calls for some sort of change or advancement. It often deals with social issues and the community. The majorly addressed issues are Child abuse, Drug abuse/addictions, early pregnancy, un-employment, Gender Based Violence and the like.
The Poets/emcees majorly use the Local language i.e. Luo which is meant to get straight to the local person’s understanding. However other dialects are also blended.
Bila-wa has female and male members aged from 12years to Adults, both school going and non school going.
Bila wa also has artist talented in Graffiti Art and Design

APPROACH:
Bila-wa uses various approaches and skills to address the mass. These include;

Bila-wa was founded in February 2012 by Rwot Onung p'yai a.k.a komakech Nicholas (R.I.P), Mc Wang jok a.k.a Rubangakene Ivan(Arts designer/Emcee) and Jok Ocol Ajuc a.k.a Ocan Samuel (independent video producer/Graphics designer), from Gulu, Northern Uganda, inspired by Bayimba Cultural foundation through its Youth & Hip-hop Project.
Trainings and rehearsals take place at Taks centre, Gulu on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with the Graffiti artists, poets/emcees, and the local instrumentalists coming together. 
Bila-wa puts up a presentation titled “Bila-wa night” which takes place every last Friday of the month at Taks centre, Gulu from 8pm to 12midnight.
Bila wa has one recorded song titled “LAPINY” (a Luo word for Bad spirits)

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
Bila wa major aims and objectives are;
1.	To create a platform or place for the youth to do something positive and keep them away from negativity, as the saying goes “an idle mind is a devils workshop”.
2.	Preserving culture by integration with a medium (Hip-hop) that attracts most children and youth in both urban and rural community.
3.	To create a place for education and entertainment outside disco halls and pubs.
4.	To advocate for some group of people e.g. children, youth, women and the vulnerable.
5.	Sensitize the community about issues like health, Children right, Peace and unity in the society.
6.	It also aims at giving comfort and consolation to ones who are unable to go to school because of financial issues and former rebel abductees, orphans and war victims.
