Totally passioned about the tech side of electronic music, Kozo isn’t afraid to touch both house and techno genre to complete his musical journey.

His groovy and uplifting sets are rumored to be inspired by the likes of Jules Verne, Terry Gilliam and Dalai Lama. Cartoon Network is still a sensitive subject. He strongly believes that one day Chuck Norris will find him.

These days Kozo is focusing all his strenght in production and the growth of his new Understand label, founded with friends Cezar and Praslea.

It’s with great listening pleasure to share a live recording on behalf of one of Romania’s great talents – Olivian Nour. Starting off deep and funky, Olivian takes us on a night out inside the renowned database club where he and Petre Inspirescu took control of the establishment’s pre-opening event.

For many years Olivian has been crafting his music (much of which features in this mix) for labels such as BodyParts records, Heisenberg as well as his own Melotherapy Records. If you haven’t already, do yourself a favour and treat your ears with the sound Olivian Nour.

Having a brother and a sister older then me, was easy for me growing in the 90s with beats from Depeche Mode, Milly Vanilly, Head Way, Culture Beat, Prince Ital Joe and I consider that this was the base for me. From here I have stared to listen to all types of music, but my focus went on ambiental music and trance at the beginning.  But after all of this years in search for good music, I felt in love step by step with electronic music and beats especially, and at some point in my life I started to play for the audience only electronic music and I realised that this is the type of music that I want to play for the rest of my life. This thing got me gigs here in Romania but also abroad, alongside DJs like Cezar, Suciu, Lizz, Charlie, Paul K, Yuda,Incolor, CAP, Dubtil, Priku, Arapu and also important festivals and showcases.”

The next installment of the underdogs showcase is hosted by one of L.A.’s most active figure in the electronic music scene – Enzo Muro.

First taste of electronic music began during the late 90’s in his hometown Lima, Peru and quickly escalated in an avid partygoer and music enthusiast. Moving in Los Angeles – USA in 2004, he quickly started building community with a vibrant restlessness, being present in every boutique event private or public, dropping records around L.A., Mexico & Peru.

Constant advocate for electronic music, Enzo is also a common voice in the radio segment – California liaison for Bamboocha Radio out of Lima, Electronic Groove team based out of Miami where he currently resides curating Electronic Groove's LA Underground Sessions, a weekly live streaming which expose most of the local talent from the city of Angels.

“The amount of music that Enzo has been exposed to, on his radio show, live streaming or out and about at every show in LA, gives him a broad and tasteful style of music when he djs. One has to step out of the box to acquire such a taste in music. Enzo has played at Lightning in a Bottle and Desert Hearts, two hugely popular campout festivals in California, also played at Burning Man a few years; and has opened for djs such as Thomas Melchior, Barac, FunkE, Vinyl Speed Adjust, Afriqua, Sedee, Nils Weimann, Sepp & Nu Zau, tINI & Bill Patrick, to name a few. Enzo is a resident of Dialogue, one of the most exclusive underground parties in LA and also co-founder of a new party called YOUKNOWWHAT. He also had residencies at The Standard rooftop in downtown Los Angeles, Clinic & La Vibe, a weekly nights dance party in Hollywood; and a fixture at Pattern Bar, a popular dimly lit cocktail lounge in DTLA he hosted a monthly party with Electronic Groove called B.LØW.” Enzo Muro
