This exclusive "Deep Forest" titled DJ set by EDWARD BEI was recorded for the purpose of self-hypnosis in the deep forest. Portuguese artist, Edward Bei is a musically attuned voyager, keenly exploring dimensions between Ambient and Techno music. He incorporates the various sounds of nature; rain dripping steadily, the yielding flow of water down a stream, and the wind rustling the leaves of a tree. His sound is minimalistic and has a simplicity in its core that creates an atmosphere of calmness.

DJ Basilisk returns to the ecstatic idealism of the early 1990s on TRANSMISSIONS FROM LYONESSE, the latest in an ongoing series of concept mixes documenting electronic music subcultures of the past. This time around the journey leads from scintillating ambient techno arpeggios and idyllic IDM to the raging heights of full-on Goa trance (and back again). Ultimately the aim is to capture some of the magic of the outdoor festival experience circa 1996, particularly in the UK and continental Europe. Many of these tracks are rough around the edges, and several have been lightly edited and remastered exclusively for this mix.

VATSANAH is also On the Way to Daad with us. Vatsanah's journey in music spans across a decade - its repetitive aspects are chained into a multi-genre pattern - her sets though are also determined by the actual venue and its impressions as a community. They are also characterised by refined tansitions with analog synth layers towards grooves and basslines. I'd like the repetitive aspects of dance music. This mix melts genres with one another, using different patterns as building blocks. The tracks I play are revolving around techno and electro, with the raw and powerful sound of analog instruments.
